Cottage Delight Satay Marinade

This sauce is a complete failure. How can you call something "satay" and have no peanuts in it? It's just a bottle of vinegar and oil with turmeric for colour and chilli for spice.
No-one at our BBQ liked it and we were left with a pile of uneaten chicken breasts.
We're going back to using one of the standard Amoy or Blue Dragon Satay stir-fry sauces instead. They work really well as marinades for the BBQ.
