Dyson Root 6 Hand-Held Vacuum, DC-16

*****

Reviewed by Craig Powell via on 25 Jun 2008

I've never thought much about hand-held hoovers as it often was just as easy to pull out the real thing.  Now, however, I can't live without it.

The suckage power on this is excellent, capable of pulling up cooked rice from a carpet.  Its battery life is quoted at 6 mins on a 3 hour charge and that's about what it gives.  Some reviews have complained of this but I expected that when I bought it.

As with other Dyson models the root cyclone technology emits clean air as it hoovers.  As well, you get to see all your efforts floating around in the chamber which provides a certain level of satisfaction.  It's not as noisy as other hand-held hoovers either.

The two attachments work a treat for most surfaces and its portability make it ideal for cleaning up after a little one throws his food on the floor or at you.

Overall a great household device!

Sounds brilliant Craig, we could do with one of those around this place!
